2017 CSA

Kylo Farm CSA is a beautiful way to get your seasonal, local, sustainably grown produce at a price your bank account will thank you for!

This year we are partnering with two other local farms to bring you the best of local and sustainably grown produce to nourish you heart and soul! We can’t wait for you to meet the folks from Restoration Farm (Benton, ME) and Stonehouse Gardens (Whitefield, ME).

Another exciting addition is our second-act share. We will offer two seasons this year: Our main season, which runs through the Summer for nine weeks and our second act which runs into the Fall for 5 weeks! These may be purchased together or separately.

Here’s how it works:

  1. Sign-up by filling out the Kylo CSA Membership Agreement 2017. Be sure to specify if you want a full share or a half share. For our 2017 Summer Season a full share is $200. A half-share is $100. For our Second Act, Fall Season, a full share is $100 and a half share is $50. As a farm shareholder in the Summer Season you will receive a weekly farm share for 8 weeks, PLUS, we will throw in an extra week just to say thank you! That’s 9 weeks worth of quality and nutrient dense fruits, vegetables and herbs for a flat rate of either $200 or $100. For the Fall Season you will get four weeks, plus, we’ll throw in an extra week for free! That’s 5 weeks of quality late-summer/fall produce at the flat rate of $100 or $50.
  2. Pay the once-a-season membership fee. You can pay via PayPal or in person with cash or check. (Deadline for 2017 Summer Season is June 15. Deadline for the 2017 Fall Season is August 1.)
  3. We will contact you when your first share is ready. (We estimate the first week of July, depending on Mother Nature!)
  4. Come visit Kylo Farm in Palermo once a week to pick-up your share. You will be able to customize your share based on what is freshly harvested–so it will change throughout the season as different things become available. Pick-up days are either Wednesday or Friday, 4-7pm. (We are considering adding an additional pick-up location in Whitefield or Benton. If either of these interest you, please contact us.)

In addition to fresh local food, members are also able to participate in our special events at no charge!  We will announce these to you via email or the events the page of the website.  These events may include:

Workshops (fermentation, foraging, herbs, traditional foods, etc.)

Farm-To-Table Dinners

Backyard concerts with amazing local artists

Soup Swaps

Kids Farm Days
